Dear All,
Do you know what happens about the cleaning of the outside of the balconies?
Clearly that is something I cannot safely attempt.
Thanks Tania

Hi, I contacted our management agency regarding this in July and got the following reply: "The external windows and balcony glass are covered by your service charge contribution. We are looking to carry out a cleaning of all external windows on a quarterly basis, with the hope to have the first clean carried out early August." However, we have not noticed that the balconies have been cleaned... Cheers, Gunter

I don't know if anyone is still following this thread but I received another e-mail from our management agent regarding the window cleaning. It turns out that the initial correspondence was incorrect. This is the new information I received: The individual property windows and balcony glass are not included with the service charge as they fall under the responsibility of the owners to maintain. The service charge does incorporate the cleaning of the communal windows to the front and rear of the blocks including the small walk way area's located on Eden Apartments. Apologies for the confusion.

Hi Tania, it may be better if we can all pool in money to do this as it may work out cheaper. I think remus once sent an email saying we need to arrange a representative to express our concerns. I think we also need to meetup to go through the money they are charging and if its reasonable.
